Hi, I’m Kathryn
I lead product design for Seismic’s platform across three program areas on a globally distributed 110+ member team, driving innovation for a sales enablement platform that empowers 2,200 companies to scale efficiently. I help shape and operationalize our 30+ member design organization as we steer towards IPO.
I’ve served on founding design leadership teams across the globe. At Hopin in North America, I worked to make a post-pandemic world feel closer through online and hybrid event experiences. In Germany, I developed AI-driven products at Freeletics, enhancing training for over 52 million users worldwide. Earlier, I contributed to impactful projects at Capital One and Cornish in Seattle, helping individuals secure their financial futures and artists pursue lifelong careers. I've worked with companies including Nike, Reebok, and Capital One, backed by a Masters in Communication Sciences in cultural, organizational and rhetorical perspectives.
I enjoy a wealth of changing hobbies. I'm continuing to learn technical cooking skills, attempting to be more outdoorsy with snow sports, and doing crazy photo shoots, all while trying to keep a burgundy rubber plant alive. I enjoy art in all of its many forms, including experimenting with painting and taking photos for fun. I love to explore the world in places like Japan, Israel, France, Jamaica, and the mysteries of the lovely Pacific Northwest.

The designer today should not help to produce more — they have to help produce fewer and better things. There is a beauty, an aesthetic, and a philosophy of less.
